Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

Sharper AI ("Sharper," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our website, create an account, upload files, connect services, or use our AI knowledge-base and assistant features.

By using Sharper, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as account details, organization details, billing information, support messages, uploaded documents, connected data sources, prompts, and other content you choose to submit to the service.

We also collect usage, device, and log information such as pages visited, features used, browser type, IP address, timestamps, and diagnostic events. Cookies and similar technologies may be used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand product usage.

How we use information

We use information to provide, operate, secure, and improve Sharper, including document processing, knowledge-base indexing, question answering, content generation, billing, support, analytics, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product performance and improve the service, provided it cannot reasonably identify you or your organization.

AI processing and customer content

Your uploaded files, connected sources, prompts, and generated outputs are used to provide Sharper to you and your organization. We do not use your customer content to train shared foundation models.

To generate answers and complete requested tasks, relevant prompts and content may be processed by trusted infrastructure, storage, search, and AI model providers under contractual restrictions designed to protect that data.

Google Workspace data and Limited Use

When you connect a Google service (such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, or Google Search Console), Sharper accesses your Google data only to provide the features you request — for example, sending a new email you approve, reading your calendar and creating events you ask for, saving generated workspace files to Drive, and reporting your Search Console performance. This access is initiated and reviewed by you, and you can disconnect a service at any time.

Sharper's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, Google user data — whether raw, aggregated, or derived — is never used to develop, train, or improve any generalized or foundational artificial intelligence or machine learning models, by us or by any of our providers.

Our AI features are served through Fireworks AI on their standard commercial inference API. Fireworks' terms state that they will not use customer content to train their models or improve their service, and they operate a Zero Data Retention policy for inference, under which prompts and generated outputs are not logged for human review or retained beyond the time needed to return a result. We do not use fine-tuning, model training, or agent features with any Google user data.

Image generation is served through OpenAI's commercial API. Data submitted to OpenAI through the API is not used to train or improve OpenAI models.

We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide features you request, to maintain security, or to comply with law — and never for advertising or to train AI/ML models.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers that help us run Sharper, such as hosting, storage, database, payment, analytics, support, email, and AI infrastructure providers.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect Sharper and our users, to prevent misuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

You may delete content or request account deletion. After deletion, we remove or anonymize information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for security, backups, legal compliance, or legitimate business needs.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards such as encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and infrastructure protections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the processing of personal information. California residents may also have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information.

To exercise privacy rights, contact support@sharper-ai.co. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

International data transfers

Sharper is operated from the United States, and information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Children's privacy

Sharper is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the date above. Your continued use of Sharper after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
